Business Manager – Music & Entertainment

London | £50,000–£60,000 | Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home)

An exciting opportunity to join a leading music and entertainment business management firm, working with a portfolio of high-profile clients across the creative industries.

This newly created role will support a Director and involve managing the financial and business affairs of a portfolio of clients. It is a highly client-facing position, ideal for someone who enjoys combining commercial thinking, financial management and relationship building.

The Role

• Manage the day-to-day financial and business affairs of a portfolio of clients.

• Build strong relationships with clients and their wider professional teams.

• Act as a key point of contact for clients, suppliers and other stakeholders.

• Prepare cash flow reports, forecasts and management information.

• Assist with tour accounting, tour support, 360 commission and financial reporting.

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.

• Manage client invoices, payments and tax liabilities.

• Support international financial matters, including withholding tax requirements.

• Prepare UK Certificates of Residence, A1 forms and international withholding tax documentation.

• Liaise with accountants, tax advisers, lawyers, managers and other professional advisers.

• Identify and resolve financial or operational issues.

• Provide commercially focused financial insight to support client decision-making.

About You

We are looking for a commercially minded, client-focused individual who is confident working with financial information and enjoys building strong professional relationships.

You may come from a background in business management, music accounting, accountancy or professional services. Experience within the music or entertainment industry would be advantageous but is not essential.

You'll ideally have:

• Experience in a client-facing financial or professional services environment.

• Strong financial and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• A commercial mindset and an interest in how businesses and individuals manage their finances.

• Confidence liaising with clients and senior stakeholders.

• The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• An interest in the music, entertainment or wider creative industries.
