Manager / Senior Manager – Accounting & Finance - Music and Entertainment Practice

Role and Responsibilities:

Review and prepare management accounts, personal and corporate tax returns

Set up accounting reporting packs for new clients

Approve supplier and employee payment runs

Prepare and review statutory accounts

Review and file VAT returns
-
Produce and advise on monthly cash flows
-
Manage staff and support their development
-
Respond to client queries and provide accounting advice

Work on consultancy projects including forecasting and planning
Person Requirements:

Strong knowledge of UK reporting requirements and business tax environment

Advanced Excel skills

Experience preparing management and statutory accounts

Skilled at reviewing management accounts analytically

Confident self-starter able to work independently

Excellent interpersonal and client liaison skills; strong team player

Flexible, able to adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines
