We’re partnering with a fast-growing business within the music and entertainment industry to hire a Finance / Accounts Assistant as a result of continued growth. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to exciting music/entertainment clients, supporting the small finance team with day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping duties, and the opportunity to develop your finance career within a creative, fast-paced environment.
The Role
- Day-to-day bookkeeping and finance administration
- Processing invoices, payments, and receipts
- Accounts payable
- Assisting with VAT returns
- Supporting month-end and general finance processes
- Maintaining accurate and well-organised financial records
- Ad hoc finance support as required
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 6-12 months’ experience in a finance, accounts assistant, or bookkeeping role
- Comfortable with payables and day-to-day bookkeeping
- Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in music, entertainment, film, TV, or creative industries is a bonus
- A genuine interest in music is essential
