Head of Project Management | Rapidly Growing SaaS Giant

About the Role
We’re looking for a strategic leader to oversee the Project Management function in our Professional Services team. You’ll ensure projects run smoothly, resources are used efficiently, and governance, reporting, and quality standards are maintained across all client and partner-delivered implementations. You’ll lead a team of Project Coordinators and a PM Pod Lead, setting frameworks, processes, and KPIs to deliver projects at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee resource allocation, workload, billing, and capacity planning across all projects
- Establish and maintain project governance, standards, and quality controls
- Manage partner-delivered project oversight and intervene on at-risk projects
- Define reporting frameworks, track KPIs, and provide data-driven insights to leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop the PM team, ensuring career progression and consistent delivery standards
- Collaborate with Sales, Consulting, Partner Enablement, Customer Success, and Finance teams
- Maintain and optimise project management systems (Teamwork) and workflows
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Experience in project management (professional services, consulting, or tech)
- Experience managing project teams
- Strong experience in resource planning, governance, and financial tracking
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Expert in project management tools (Teamwork preferred)
Desirable:
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification
- SaaS/B2B professional services experience
- Familiarity with ERP, accounting software, or reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel)
- Partner project oversight experience
