The Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Manager to oversee a portfolio of clients within music and entertainment while leading and developing a team. This role combines client relationship management, operational oversight, and team leadership to ensure high-quality service delivery, effective workflow management, and strong financial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact
- Oversee accounts preparation, financial reporting, and tax compliance
- Review and sign off work to ensure quality and accuracy
- Lead, coach, and support team members to drive performance and development
- Allocate work effectively and manage deadlines across the team
- Handle complex client queries and provide practical financial guidance
- Monitor workflow, team capacity, and operational efficiency
- Manage billing, WIP, and resource planning to support profitable delivery
- Collaborate with internal departments to provide a seamless client service
About You
- Fully qualified with strong technical knowledge
- Proven experience managing client relationships and delivering high-quality service
- Experience leading, mentoring, or managing others
- Strong organisational and delegation skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Commercially aware with an understanding of billing and profitability
- Confident communicator with a proactive and professional approach
