We’re supporting a specialist live events logistics business in their search for an Operator / Junior Operator to join their growing operations team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build hands-on experience in the live events and festival space, working on complex, time-critical movements in a fast-paced environment.
This is not a standard logistics/freight forwarding role. You’ll be involved end-to-end with shipments, supporting live events and project-based logistics where accuracy, communication, and problem-solving are key.
The Role
- Coordinate shipments from origin through to final delivery
- Book and manage trucks, warehouse movements, and collections
- Liaise with airlines, ocean carriers, brokers, overseas agents, and partners
- Monitor shipments in transit and proactively resolve issues
- Support live events, festivals, and time-sensitive projects
- Handle incoming operational work and queries
- Work closely as part of a small, hands-on operations team
The Ideal Candidate
- Ambitious, organised, and keen to learn
- Genuine interest in live events, festivals, or production logistics
- Confident communicator with a practical, hands-on approach
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and solutions-focused
Experience in logistics, freight, transport, or live events is an advantage, but full training will be provided. This role could suit someone early in their career with the passion and ambition to grow in the live events logistics industry, as well as someone with relevant experience who can hit the ground running (with salary to reflect this).
