Senior Marketing Manager | Live Music
London
Hybrid
43-48k
I'm working with a leading music, nightlife and hospitality group to find a Senior Marketing Manager for the launch of a major new live music and events venue in East London, with a capacity of 2,000.
The business operates a portfolio of established music venues, bars, clubs, festivals and live events, with a strong reputation across London's music and nightlife scene. This is an opportunity to take ownership of marketing for a brand-new venue, driving ticket sales, building an audience and establishing its identity from launch.
The Role
You'll lead the marketing and promotion of the venue's live music programme, owning campaigns from initial planning through to ticket sales and post-campaign analysis. Working closely with promoters, artists, agents and internal creative teams, you'll play a central role in shaping the venue's identity and turning its programme into a commercially successful operation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading marketing campaigns across a varied programme of live music, club nights and events.
- Driving ticket sales through paid social, email marketing, organic social and physical promotion.
- Managing and optimising paid social campaigns through Meta Business Manager.
- Developing engaging copy and content across social media, email, websites and advertising.
- Owning brand direction and ensuring consistency across all marketing activity.
- Briefing photographers, videographers and designers to deliver high-quality creative assets.
- Building strong relationships with promoters, artists, agents and management teams.
- Monitoring ticket sales and campaign performance, using data to refine activity and maximise results.
- Staying on top of music, nightlife and audience trends to keep campaigns relevant and effective.
About You
You'll be a commercially minded, hands-on marketer with a strong background in live music, nightlife or events. You understand what makes audiences buy tickets, how to build momentum around a show and how to establish a brand in a competitive market.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- Proven experience marketing and selling tickets for gigs, club nights, festivals or live events.
- A track record of delivering multi-channel campaigns across paid social, email, organic social and physical promotion.
- Experience launching a new venue, brand or product, or building an audience from the ground up.
- Strong working knowledge of Meta Business Manager, email marketing tools and ticketing platforms.
- Excellent creative judgement, with experience shaping brand identity and social media direction.
- A data-led approach, with the ability to monitor sales daily and react quickly to performance.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns, on-sale dates and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Confidence working with artists, agents, promoters and creative teams.
- A proactive, self-sufficient approach, with the seniority to take ownership and make things happen.
A genuine passion for live music and nightlife is essential, alongside the commercial instinct to turn great programming into successful ticket sales.
